White Wine Sangria

on Sunday, 08 July 2012. Posted in Kemp's Blog

This is my son Trevor's recipe for a white wine sangria.  It's slightly sweet which should appeal to the legion of moscato drinkers out there and so refreshing on a hot summer day!

2 750 ml bottles Blush wine (he uses Carlo Rossi)
2 oz triple sec
1/2 cup peach brandy
sugar to taste
12 oz 7 up
Fresh fruit as desired, any combination of the following: orange slices, lime slices, fresh peach slices, lemon slices, tart apple slices, pear slices

Combine first 4 ingredients  and fresh fruit slices in pitcher and chill for 2+ hours.  Just before serving, add cold 7 Up.
